“I will always show up”, “I will always dress down”

but

“I don’t have to work out”

but you probably will.

  • Going to the gym and working out is as much a mental sport as it is physical because people consider it hard work though 60% of it is just walking through that door.
  • Have no expectations for the first 30 days, instead, use those 30 days as discovery days.
  • Use this time to get familiar with the facility and equipment and unfamiliar surrounding.
  • Also use this time to get use to being in a foreign place at least 3-4 times a week.
  • Take it slow, the 1st week only 1 set, the 2nd week add another set and the 3rd week add your 3rd set. This will help keep your soreness down while you start activating muscles you have not used for a while. Walk thru the soreness and let your body be your guide.
